One old, unverifiable record from south-eastern Alaska ( Evermann and Goldsborough 1907 ; Mecklenburg et al. 2002); southern Chile record ( Eschmeyer and Herald 1983 ) not verifiable. Co-occurs with Squatina armata (Philippi, 1887) off Peru . Depth: intertidal to 205 m ( 672 ft ) (min.: Carlisle et al. 1960 ; max.: Robertson and Allen 2008 ).
