Probably mesopelagic or bathypelagic; depth: collected in midwater; depth information not clear, characterized by authors from two specimens as 309–338 m ( 1,014 –1,109 ft ) over bottom depth of 3,961 m ( 12,995 ft ). All in Chernova and Stein (2002) .
