Warchaowski’s collection, Wroclaw, Poland . Etymology. The new species is named after the type locality, the province of Isparta . Diagnosis. Phyllotreta ispartaensis is distinguished from the other Phyllotreta species by the following combination of characters: upper side pure black without distinct metallic reflection; antennomeres 2–4 entirely reddish, antennomere 1 also reddish or dorsally darkened; upper side strongly punctate; in male antennomere 5 almost two times longer than 4; aedeagus very narrow in dorsal view, parallelsided, about 9x longer than broad, its apex forms an angle of about 100º. Measurements (mm). Males: Lb = 1.92–2.11; Le = 1.33–1.53; We = 0.84–0.94; Lp = 0.35–0.42; Wp = 0.55–0.61; La = 0.84–0.91; Le/Lp = 3.6–3.8. Females: Lb = 1.98–2.28; Le = 1.46–1.66; We = 0.91–1.04; Lp = 0.35–0.42; Wp =0.58–0.68; Ls = 0.26–0.29; Le/Lp = 4.0–4.2. Description of the male ( holotype ). Head: Entirely black; central part of frons distinctly punctured; background texture shagreened; orbital line covered with sparse, white hairs near eyes; antennal calli distinct; frontal ridge raised and narrow. Antennae: Antennomeres 1–4 reddish, antennomere 5 black, almost 2x as long as antennomere 4; antennomere 6 brownish; antennomeres 7–11 black; antennomere length ratio: 13:7:6:6:11:8:8:8:8:7:13 ( Fig. 1A ). Pronotum: Entirely black; about 1.5x as broad as long; lateral and especially anterior margins covered with a row of fine, white hairs; punctation confused, dense and distinct; background surface with shagreened texture. Elytra: Pure black without metallic reflection; elongate; lateral margins clearly visible from above; punctation fine, dense and confused; texture smooth; humeral calli evident but weak. Legs: Fore and middle femora basally black, apex reddish; hind femora entirely black; all tibiae reddish; tarsal segments 1 and 2 reddish, 3–4 dark brown. Venter: Black; apical ventrite with small depression at apex; last abdominal segment covered by apex of elytra. Aedeagus: Very narrow, long and parallel sided in dorsal view; about 9 times as long as broad; apex forms an angle of about 100º with a small apical tip; ventral groove evident, reaching to basal opening; almost straight in lateral view; in dorsal view with distinct transverse wrinkles, and two thin sclerites at apex ( Figs. 2–4 ). FIGURES. 1–5. Psylliodes ispartaensis sp. n. , antennae. (1A) right antenna in male; (1B) right antenna in female; genitalia. (2) aedeagus ventral view; (3) aedeagus dorsal view; (4) aedeagus lateral view; (5) spermatheca (Scale for genitalia, 0.3 mm). Measurements of the holotype (mm). Lb = 2.05; Le = 1.46; We = 0.90; Lp = 0.39; Wp = 0.58; La = 0.91; Le/Lp = 3.7. Description of the female. As holotype except as follows: antennomeres 1–6 reddish, others black, length ratio of antennomeres: 13:7:7:8:11:9:10:10:10:9:13 ( Fig. 1B ). Pronotum about 1.6x as broad as long; last segment of abdomen not covered by apex of elytra; spermatheca as in Figure 5 .
