Oval carapace, three times longer than rostrum. Rostrum divided from the base into two strong and long horns, approximately 1/3 of the carapace length, provided of two rows of hairs on the inner margin. Preorbital spine directed anteriorly, approximately 1/3 of the length of rostral horns. First pair of walking legs much longer than remaining pairs.The anterior third of the dorsal surface of the carapace with short tubercles provided with setae brushes (RODRÍGUEZ, 1980).
