The specimen bears eight teeth on the dactylus of the raptorial claws and agrees well with published accounts ( Kemp 1911 , Manning 1978a , Ahyong 2001). Distribution. Madagascar , the Andaman Sea, Australia , Indonesia , Vietnam , Japan and now the Philippines ; shallow subtidal to at least 33 m .
