Diagnosis
Surstylus with two long prensisetae (one each basally and apically) (
Figure 7
(a, b)); gonopods with three strongly sclerotized, suberect processes dorsoapically, the median bifurcate (
Figure 7
(e)). The 8.4% interspecific genetic distance to
S
. (
O
).
triodonta
sp. nov.
is one of the smallest interspecific distances ascertained within this subgenus; see under that species.
Description
Clypeus brown. Palpus yellow. Mesoscutum yellow anteromedially, yellowish brown laterally and posteriorly (

(a)). Scutellum yellowish brown, yellow at tip (

(a)). Katepisternum yellow. Wing yellowish, brownish anterodistally (Figure 2 (e)). Abdominal tergites: 1st yellow; 2nd yellow submedially, with one brownish patch medially, dark brown on lateral and posterior margins; 3rd to 5th yellow on anterior margin, dark brown on posterior margins; 6th yellow medially, dark brown laterally (

Male terminalia: Epandrium undeveloped on posterolateral corners, with 1.13, rcorb = 0.47–0.73, vb = 0.36–0.70, dcl = 0.34–0.52, presctl = 0.39–0.56, sctl = 1.10– 1.33, sterno = 0.71–0.95, orbito = 1.43–2.00, dcp = 0.20–0.32, sctlp = 0.80–0.93, C = 2.50– 3.27, 4c = 0.71–0.94, 4v = 1.77–2.39, 5x = 1.36–1.82, ac = 4.80–6.20, M = 0.50–0.70, C3F = 1.00.
