Tin3.- 2b, 2c. Morophagoides ussuriensis : Moriuti, 1976 : 87 ; Moriuti, 1982 , 1: 164, 2: 185, pl. 2: 17. Diagnosis. In the male genitalia, the uncal lobes are round, apex of the uncus is acute, inner surface of the valva is covered with membrane on basal half and the valva is posteriorly broad. In the female genitalia, lateral margin of ostium bursae is angular, concavity of posterior margin of the ostium bursae is about 1/2 as long as the ostium bursae, the antrum is slender and 1/2 as long as the apophysis anterioris. JAPAN : Honshu (Iwate, Miyagi, Ibaraki, Nagano, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo and Okayama) and Shikoku ( Kochi and Ehime). Remarks. This species has a restricted distribution in Honshu and Shikoku. This species is a well known pest of shiitake mushrooms in Honshu and Shikoku. The female genitalia of the Taiwanese specimen illustrated by Robinson (1986; Figs. 141) agree with those of M. ussuriensis .
