Remarks. According to the original description (
Attems 1898
), the
type
material of
Leptodesmus carinovatus
includes
two male
specimens. However, the
ZMH
storage container has a single male specimen with intact gonopods, and a microvial containing the dissected gonopods of the second male (N. Duperre, pers. comm.).
