The sensoria on antennal segments III–IV consist of a single row of pores, and the fore wings are pale basally. The male is similar to the female in color, but abdominal sternites VII–VIII have transverse pore plates ( Fig. 54 ). No information about the host plant is available, neither in the original description nor on the slide labels of the specimens studied. Material examined. Holotype female, Brazil , Santa Catarina , Nova Teutônia, 17-18.xi.1949 , (F. Plaumann) ( USNM ). Paratypes : 4 females , 1 male , collected with holotype ( USNM ).
