( Hand collected) Distribution : widespread in Central and South Europe, occasionally locally common (e.g. Wagner 2004 ). Remarks : first records from Croatia . DNA barcoding was attempted both for Croatian and German specimens but only the German specimens yielded sequences. These group with sequences from Pericoma barbarica Vaillant, 1955 from Mallorca, separated by a pairwise distance of 8.87%.
