"Habitat in Helvetia, G. Narbonensi, Hispania, Lusitania." RCN: 6173. Lectotype (Hilliard & Burtt in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 82: 206, 244. 1981): Herb. A. van Royen No. 900.286-294 ( L ) . Current name: Laphangium luteoalbum (L.) Tzvelev ( Asteraceae ). Note: Specific epithet spelled "luteo-album" in the protologue. Royen ( Alp. Fl. N. Guinea 4: 3348. 1983) indicated Herb. The orthography of the specific epithet ( "luteoalbum" vs. "luteoalbum" ) was discussed by Brummitt & Taylor (in Taxon 39: 303. 1990).
