World distribution. Brazil and Chile . Chilean distribution. The species only has been recorded in Antofagasta and La Araucanía region ( Fig. 200 ). Altitudinal range. From coastal to inland valley ecosystems ( 0– 450 m .a.s.l.). Biology and notes. Mimocalla erebus represent a rare species present in Chile . All of its biology and ecology aspects remain unknown in Chile . Conservation status. EN under B2ab (iii) using AOO = 4 km 2 and 2 localities (or subpopulations).
