Diagnosis.
Male with a relatively broad frons, at narrowest point twice as wide as width of postpedical; arista long-pubescent, the combined upper and lower hairs only slightly shorter than width of postpedicel; scutum with an “
Anthomyia
-pattern”; presutural acrostichal setulae in 4 rows; dorsocentrals 2+3; lower katepisternal very short, much closer to posterior than to anterior seta; fore tibia without a posterior seta; mid femur with 2 posterior preapical setae; mid tibia with 2 posterior setae; hind femur with 1–2 anteroventral setae.
