Material examined. 2 queens 131 workers 12 males (IAB). Distribution in Gansu. Abundant at low to medium elevations of the southeastern mountains, rare at low to medium elevations of the eastern loess plateau and Qinghai-Tibetan plateau in the southwest ( Fig. 9 ); 18 localities between 1011 and 2241 m (IAB). Distribution in China . Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia (IAB). Forage plants.
