Pape det. , 1986 / Macronychia polyodon (Mg.) , T. Pape det., 1986. PARALECTOTYPE EXAMINED: 1 ♂ ( MZUF : Box 14): Macronychia Rnd. sylvestris Rnd. / 731 / paralectotype . CURRENT STATUS: junior synonym of Macronychia polyodon ( Meigen, 1824 ) ( Verves 1986: 60 , Pape 1988: 16 , 1996: 96 ; Verves & Khrokalo 2006: 233 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1865c: 218) described Macronychia sylvestris from just the male sex without specifying either the number or the length of the specimens. Pape (1988: 16) designated a lectotype ( ♂ ) and paralectotype ( ♂ ).
