Material examined . ♂,♀, Phetchabun, Khao Kho National Park, 16˚32.546´N, 101˚02.501´E, 274 m , a.s.l., 26 xi– 2 xii 2006 , Malaise trap, Somchai Chachumnan & Saink Singtong. Remarks . This species is easily recognized by the strongly shining bluish-black mesoscutum, scutellum and abdomen, about 18 long spines on the surstylus, a ventral membranous process (spinulose on surface, weakly chitinized internally) distad of basiphallus, and a spinulose area on each dorsolateral side of the distiphallus (Sasakawa 1963d: fig. 8). Description . The female is described here for the first time, differing from the male in the following points: parafrontalia slightly projecting above eye in profile; ocellar triangle matt; eye 1.2 times as high as wide, gena broader (1/6–1/7 as high as eye); thorax and abdomen more strongly shining than male, but without bluish sheen; wing length 2.5 mm ( 2.1–2.3 mm in male).
