Remarks
. This species is easily recognized by the strongly shining bluish-black mesoscutum, scutellum and abdomen, about 18 long spines on the surstylus, a ventral membranous process (spinulose on surface, weakly chitinized internally) distad of basiphallus, and a spinulose area on each dorsolateral side of the distiphallus (Sasakawa 1963d: fig. 8).
Description
. The female is described here for the first time, differing from the male in the following points: parafrontalia slightly projecting above eye in profile; ocellar triangle matt; eye 1.2 times as high as wide, gena broader (1/6–1/7 as high as eye); thorax and abdomen more strongly shining than male, but without bluish sheen; wing length
