In Iran , E. zermattensis has hitherto been reported from the provinces of Alborz , East Azerbaijan and Kurdistan (Kehlmaier & Majnon-Jahromi 2015 ; Kazerani et al . 2017 ), and the new material extends its distribution range to southern Iran. The examined females represent the form with a long piercer (see Kehlmaier 2005 ).
