Description Description of both sexes see Azarkina & Foord (2013) . General appearance of male as in Fig. 95A , palpal organ as in Fig. 95B–C . Distribution Species widely distributed in Africa, it is newly recorded in the fauna of Uganda . Remarks This specimen differs from other members of Thyene by the tibial apophysis, which is relatively long and with a notch at the top. The length of the tibial apophysis is variable, but in all known specimens it had a clearly sharp tip.
