Remarks.
The apex of the phallic apparatus has 3 pairs of spines on the ventral lobe and 4 pairs of spines on the dorsal lobes of the aedeagus or endotheca. A comparison of the wing venation in the newly collected specimens from
Orissa
and Rajasthan states in
India
confirms that they belong to
H. rivalis
Betten
, earlier known from a single female only.
