Diagnosis
(emended). Distinguished from
Tethepomima
by the following: Most or all of antennal flagellum lost; mesonotum bare, devoid of setae or setulae; apical tibial spurs absent; costal vein incomplete, not reaching to apex of Rs; costal spinules and fringe of fine setae on posterior margin of wing lost; alula and anal lobe lost; veins R2+3 and R4+5 lost (Rs simple, unbranched), crossvein r-m lost.
