It has been already reported from Morocco by McMurtry & Bounfour (1989). It is commercialised and used in greenhouses to control phytophagous mites but essentially thrips (Messelink et al ., 2006). It is also known to feed on tarsonemid mites (Tuovinen & Lindquist, 2010) and Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) (Hwang Yong et al ., 2008) . It has been naturally reported in eco- and agrosystems especially on grass. Specimens examined: 2003, Larache on Juncus articulates (Juncaceae) ( 7 females ), Gorges of Zegzel on Lavandula dentata (Lamiaceae) ( 1 female ).
