REMARKS
Riccardia leptophylla
is a delicate, widespread neotropical species that was recorded from
Guadeloupe
(“Cascade Écrevisses, De Sloover 23.544, JE) by
Meenks (1987)
. We have not seen this material but have visited the Guadeloupean locality several times and only found
R. regnellii
there. We therefore assume that the
R. leptophylla
material from
Guadeloupe
belongs to
R. regnellii
.
