Acanella robusta Saucier et al. 2017: 377 , fig. 11 (off Papua New Guinea ). Opinion: This species does occur in the region but may not be recognizable. Justification: Literature analysis : The original description of this species did not include a single illustration and has never been redescribed. Saucier et al. (2017) identified material from off New Guinea with this species but without reference to the holotype , which is inaccessible in the Indian Museum in Kolkata. At present the characteristics of the species remain uncertain. Rao & Devi (2003) just list the species.
