Y.W. Huang and M.B. Potapov. 19 individuals ( 10 females and 9 males ) are deposited in SIPPE , 2 ( 1 female and 1 male ) in MSPU , and 6 ( 4 females and 2 males ) in NEIGAE . Remarks Thalassaphorura lifouensis was first described from beaches in New Caledonia ( Thibaud and Weiner 1997 ). Our record considerably expands the distribution of the species. Our littoral material fits the original description, except that a0 is absent on Abd. V tergum in our specimens.
