Remarks
Thalassaphorura lifouensis
was first described from beaches in
New Caledonia
(
Thibaud and Weiner 1997
). Our record considerably expands the distribution of the species.
Our littoral material fits the original description, except that a0 is absent on Abd. V tergum in our specimens.
