Diagnosis.
Belongs to the
S. expressa
group. The combination of gnathos with closely juxtaposed processes, angular inner lobe of valva, large, distally four-lobed uncus, set of 2–3 large cornuti and cluster of small spine-like cornuti, and pale, speckled forewing distinguishes
S. robusta
sp. nov.
from all other
Stigmella
species, including the members of
S. expressa
group.
