Type locality: CAMEROON , South Cameroon , Mount Fébé; MNHN, male. The species is described in detail by Matile (1973) . The male groups with M. securiculata Matile and M. ghanaensis new species in having a simple gonostylus with thickened base. It can be separated from both species in that the lobes of tergite 9 are bare apically. Distribution: The species is known from Cameroon only.
