Diagnosis.
This is one of the larger
Proarna
species
in the Lesser Antilles with with body lengths of
22.9–24.2 mm
and fore wing lengths of 30.0–
33.3 mm
.
Proarna hilaris
and
Proarna invaria
can be quickly separated based on their smaller body and fore wing lengths. The costal margin is strongly curved at the base and there is infuscation on the veins separating the apical cells in this species both of which are absent in
Proarna squamigera
.
