Cercal plate large and extended distally, with two short submedian processes on distal margin; no trace of a median process ( B . montivaga and B . petrophila have in addition two further lateral processes). Surstylus rather short and wide. Processes of sternite 5 short and rounded, inner margins clothed with dense setulae and hairs, often with 2-3 stronger apical setae. Species included in this group from China are B . acudepressa (Fan & Ma in Fan et al ., 1984a), B . angulisurstyla Xue & Zhang, 1996 , B . depressa ( Stein, 1907 ) , B . montivaga ( Hennig, 1970 ) , and B . submontivaga Xue & Zhang, 1996 .
