Holotype male: Brazil , BA [ Bahia ], Itabuna , Reserva Ecológica CEPEC, Mata , Ligth trap , 04.VI.1986 , Lg Terra, P.S. Diagnosis. Eye bridge with three rows of facets; eyes separated by 3 facet diameters; internal arm of gonostylus without small apical stripes; external arm of gonostylus with short basal lobe, digitiform; aedeagus almost the same width along the length, apex rounded apically with pointed apex upward; ejaculatory apodeme approximately with the same width of aedeagus. Description. Male. Head ( Fig. 8A ): wider than long, 1.3 times wider than long; eye bridge with 3 facet rows; eyes separated by 3 facet diameter; clypeal patch of alveoli subrectangular; epipharynx with 10 small spiniform setae at distal end; antenna with scape 1.6 times the length of pedicel; palpus formula: 1.0:1.8:1.8:1.5. Wing ( Fig. 8B ): medial fork at the same level of radial fork. Terminalia ( Figs. 8C, D, E, F, G ): gonocoxal apodeme plate-like, wider than ejaculatory apodeme; internal arm of gonostylus without small apical stripes; external arm of gonostylus with short, basal external lobe, digitiform; hypopod with one row of big alveoli; aedeagus almost the same width along the length, apex rounded apically with pointed apex upward; ejaculatory apodeme oval approximately 0.8 times the length of aedeagus, with approximately the same width than aedeagus.
