Distribution and habitat:—
This species is endemic to
Brazil
(
Goldenberg
et al.
2013
), in Amazonian forests (
Goldenberg & Caddah 2015
). In the reserve, it occurs on “terra firme” slopes, on sandy soil with low organic matter.
Comments:—
This species is frequent in the reserve. It has dark gray, slightly scaly rhytidome and leaves with very small reticulation.
