Review of the European genera of Eviphididae (Acari: Mesostigmata) and the species occurring in Slovakia 2585 Author Mašán, Peter Author Halliday, Bruce text Zootaxa 2010 2010-08-31 2585 1 122 journal article 11755334 Copriphis ( Pelethiphis ) undulatus Berlese Copriphis ( Pelethiphis ) undulatus Berlese, 1921: 172 ; Castagnoli & Pegazzano, 1985: 428 . Pelethiphis undulatus .— Shoemake, 1970: 156 . Remarks. There is only one specimen of this species in the Berlese Acaroteca, on slide number 196/33, labelled "tipico". It contains a poor quality female specimen from Germany . The length of the specimen is 458 µm. It has an unpaired J seta between dorsal setae J2 and J5, suggesting that this species is similar to Alliphis siculus ; both were collected from the same beetle host, Scarabaeus semipunctatus . The only obvious difference between these species seems to be the length of the central dorsal shield setae (for example length of J2 is 32 µm in undulatus , while 22 µm in siculus ).
