Diagnosis.
This species is similar to
B. obliquata
,
B. obvia
,
B. acuticornuta
, and
B. rotundicornuta
, but can be distinguished on the basis of the following combination of characters: the outer margin of the hind wing does not form a protrusion at the end of M1; the bands outside the postmedial lines of both wings are narrower; the medial line and the discal spot on the hind wing are more distinct. In the male genitalia, this species is distinguishable from the other four species by the straight dorsal arm of the valva, the much shorter saccus, and the presence of only one spindle-like cornutus (about one-half length of the aedeagus). In the female genitalia, the ductus bursae is even in width, and the length of the sclerotized part is shorter.
