The genome size of the type strain is 2.95 Mbp. The mol% G+C content of DNA is 46.7. The species has a nomadic lifestyle and was isolated from a broad range of habitats including dairy products, fermented meat, fish, vegetables and cereals, sewage, humans (oral, vaginal and intestinal), invertebrate hosts and clinical sources [ 17 , 169 ].
