Distribution.
Known from Perak and Pahang only (
Maassen 2001
).
Remarks.
Shell small. Differ from the sympatric
Georissa monterosatiana
by its lower spire, indistinct spiral sculpture over radial growth lines and very obtuse whorls. Shell colour pink to red. New record for Kinta Valley. Prior to this study,
G. semisculpta
was thought to be extinct because it was presumed endemic to Gunung Pondok, where it has not been detected ever since its original description (
Davison 1991
).
