Material examined . China : Guizhou : 5♂♂ , Mt.Fanjing , 23.VII.2003 , Li-Zhen Li leg. ( SHNU ) ; 1♂ 1♀ , same data except Hu & Tang leg. ( SHNU ) . Measurements . BL: 5.8–6.0 mm, FL: 3.1–3.2 mm . HW: 1.07–1.09 mm , PL: 0.88–0.96 mm , PW: 0.88–0.90 mm, EL: 1.33–1.40 mm , EW: 1.29–1.33 mm , SL: 0.18–1.25 mm . Head 0.81–0.84 times as wide as elytra, pronotum 0.97–1.06 times as long as wide, elytra 1.02–1.07 times as long as wide. Distribution . China ( HongKong , Fujian, Hubei, Shaanxi, Guizhou). Remarks. The species belongs to Dianous ocellatus complex. It is similar to D. luteolunatus Puthz, 1980 from Guangxi, Guangdong, Laos , Vietnam and Myanmar , but it differs from the latter by the denser and smaller punctures of head and by the smaller elytral marks. The species is new to Guizhou.
