Dawah ( CERS ) ; 1♀ , same data but, 7–28.viii.2013 ( CERS ) ; 1♂ , 1♀ , Asir , Al-Souda , Al-Muqtha Dam , 25.ii–1.v.2013 , sweeping, H.A. Dawah ( CERS ) . Distribution. This is the first record from Saudi Arabia . This species was described from Hawaii and is further recorded from Guam , Japan (Bonin Islands), Malaysia and Vietnam ( Mariana Islands ) ( Nartshuk 1992 ; Deeming 2011 ). There are some specimens of this species in the NMWC collected from Borneo and Sri Lanka . Remarks. This species was reared from decaying stem of rice and from fruit of Touchardia Gaudich. (Urticaceae) by Sabrosky (1976) , who believed that the larvae of this species might be scavengers.
