Diagnosis.
Easily differentiated from its congener,
B. rufocercata
, by the entirely black colouration, the triangular tegmina of the female and the structure of the male genitalia.

R3 anterior portion acute. L4G (Ventral phallomere) reduced, anterior margin weakly sclerotised.

(b)): similar to males except for the following: Pronotum parabolic, posterior margin almost straight. Tegmina triangular, reaching up to the hind margin of metathorax. Hindwing reduced to triangular pads with little venation. Supra-anal plate truncate, symmetrical. Subgenital plate valvular.

Etymology.
Named after its
type
locality, Sibuyan Island.
Ecology.
Little is known about the behaviour of this species. Unlike
B. rufocercata
,
B. sibuyania
were found singly on crevices of tree stumps. A single female specimen was caught in a pitfall trap.
