Juscelinomys huanchacae Emmons, 1999
Distribution.
Juscelinomys huanchacae
is endemic to the Cerrado, and is only known from the Bolivian department of Santa Cruz (
Emmons 2015
).
Conservation status.
The red list of the IUCN ver. 3.1 assigned the category "Data Deficient" to
Juscelinomys huanchacae
(see
Dunnum et al. 2008
). Since the known records are restricted to Bolivian cerrado, the species was not considered to be included in the official list of threatened species of Brazil (
ICMBIO-MMA 2016
).
