,
13
). In
Russia
, Primorye,
M. occi
occurs in rich broadleaved forests at low and medium elevations (
100–300 m
). It is not a common species. The moths are attracted to UV light. The flight period is from mid July to mid August. The early stages are unknown.
M. occi
is recorded from south of the Russian Far East (Primorye Territory) to Central and East
China
, and North and
South Korea
and Jeju Island. In
Japan
known only from the Tsushima Islands in the Korean Strait.
Note.
The species has been found in Korean collections and dissected in the course of preparation of the Catalogue of
Noctuidae
in
Korea
(
Kononenko
et al
. 1998
). However, because its systematic position was not clear, it was not included in the Catalogue. It was reported for
Korea
as
Micronoctua
sp. and illustrated with male and female genitalia by
Kononenko & Han (2007)
.
Micronoctua occi
was listed by
Kononenko (2005)
from Russian Far East as
Micronoctua
sp. in the family
Micronoctuidae
.
