Distribution
According to
Frey (1969: 499)
: most of New
Guinea
from Doberai Peninsula through Bird’s Neck Isthmus, North (Cyclops Mts) through Central Cordillera (Baliem Valley) towards the East (Finisterre Mts. & Papuan Peninsula), also Cenderawasih Bay Islands (Yapen). The occurrence of this species as specified by
Frey (1969)
is not impossible but needs further confirmation since I have not seen specimens from the Doberai Peninsula, Baliem Valley or Yapen.
