Proportionally smaller bug, total length ranging from 3.75 to 5 mm . Appendices (antenna and legs) proportionally shorter. First antennal segment thicker, about as long as the head and pronotum together. Labium elongate, reaching the fifth or the sixth abdominal segment ( Lansbury 1963 ). Apex of femora widened. Cuneus barely longer than wide at base. Ostiolar peritreme dark brown. Left paramere with short, thin setae subapically on its dorso-outer margin. Body of right paramere wide, frequently swollen. Distribution. India ( Assam , Kerala ), Myanmar , Philippine Islands (Luzon, Mindanao), Sri Lanka . Four species in India .
