Chloeia with bipinnate branchiae from chaetiger 4, progressively smaller posteriorly; dorsum with middorsal bands irregular, posteriorly constricted, extended along each segment; caruncle blackish; notochaetae furcates, without harpoon chaetae; neurochaetae furcates. Remarks . Chloeia nuriae Yáñez-Rivera & Salazar-Vallejo, 2022 was described from the Eastern Pacific. It belongs in the group venusta by having a middorsal band, bipinnate branchiae from chaetiger 4, progressively smaller posteriorly. Because its middorsal band runs through the complete segment, but each band is truncate anteriorly and constricted posteriorly, C nuriae separates from the five other species in the group, as indicated in the key above. This species has been described recently and no additional specimens have been found.
