Colour in life

Fig. 1A
). Cephalothorax and most of abdomen mottled white-cream and pale red-brown; cervical groove with two blue spots on each side. Abdominal somite 6 and tail-fan translucent white; anterior margin of uropodal protopod brown-red. Walking legs translucent with diffuse white banding.
Remarks
. The specimen agrees well with published accounts (Van Dam 1838; Baba & de Saint Laurent 1996).
