Description:—
Valve semi–lanceolate, dorsiventral with triundulate dorsal margin and slightly concave ventral margin. Valve ends protracted and capitate. Raphe biarcuate with dorsally bent proximal endings. Length 18.3 μm, valve breadth 3.3 μm. Striae radiate throughout, 24–25/10 μm.
Distribution and ecology:—
A single specimen was found at Gongbujiangda,
Tibet
,
China
, altitude
3550 m
a.s.l., pH 7.2, collected in a swamp near the road.
