Peritremes complex; palptarsus with 2 + 1 eupathidium + 1; pdx absent; idiosomal setae lanceolate; c1 and d1 much longer than others; c1 : c2 = 2.4–2.6, d1 : d2 = 3.4–4.7, e1 : e2 = 1.7–2.0, f1 : f2 = 2.0–2.1, c1 : d1 : e1 : f1 = 2.0–2.4: 1.9–2.2: 1.0: 1.0; femora I–IV with 4, 3, 3, 2; tarsi I–II with 9 + 1, 9 + 1. Adult male. As adult female but: c1 much longer than other setae; c1 : c2 = 2.2–2.8, d1 : d2 = 1.6–2.4, e1 : e2 = 1.0, c1 : d1 : e1 : f1 = 4.0–5.9: 1.6–2.4: 1.0: 1.0; tibia I with an additional long terminal solenidion and each tarsus with an enlarged and elongate solenidion. Distribution and habitat HAWAII ISLANDS. Nihoa I.: from Chenopodiium oahuense litter, Solanum nelsoni litter, Eragrostis variabilis litter ( Bolland & Swift 2000 ); Oahu I.: from ground litter, duff on ground, Koa litter, soil ( Bolland & Swift 2000 ); Hawaii I.: lichen on lava flow; Maui I.: from pitfall trap ( Bolland & Swift 2000 ).
