Description
. FEMALE (
12 specimens
). Fore wing length
2.7–3.1 mm
.
Head
. Temples very short and rounded, head constricted behind eyes; ocellar triangle almost equilateral, OOi = IOi = 1; vertex, frons and inner orbits granulate, center of face more reticulate, clypeus almost smooth with sparse punctures; clypeus transverse, slightly convex, its apical margin moderately rounded, Ci = 2; MLMi = 0.5; mandible moderately long with subequal teeth; antenna with 25–26 flagellomeres.
Mesosoma
. Pronotum almost smooth with some punctures on apical side, epomia distinct; mesopleuron punctate shagreened, speculum smooth with a deep transverse hollow transversally striated below; mesoscutum and scutellum densely punctate granulate, notaulus shallow, scuto-scutellar groove deep and longitudinally striate, scutellum flat, without lateral carina; propodeum elongate with wide areae superomedia and petiolaris confluent, area basalis trapezoidal, area superomedia reticulate, area petiolaris transversally wrinkled. Anterior wing with 2Rs-m
3x
longer than abscissa of M between 2Rs-m and 2m-Cu.
Metasoma
. Tergite I smooth, tergite II longitudinally aciculate, about
2x
as long as apically broad; following tergites finely reticulate; ovipositor flat, wide in profile view, saber-shaped, slightly decurved, OTi = 1.7.
Color
. Head yellow with frons, ocellar triangle, posterior margin of temple and occiput black; mesosoma reddish brown with black median mesoscutal lobe (lateral lobes sometimes also darker), yellow scutellum, brown metapleuron and black propodeum; metasomal tergites dark brownish, ovipositor black brown with lighter apex; legs yellowish brown, tarsi and hind tibia infuscate; wings slightly infuscate.
MALE (
9 specimens
). Fore wing length
2.3–2.6 mm
. Antenna slightly longer (26–27 flagellomeres) and coloration somewhat lighter, otherwise similar to female.
