Diagnosis (Based on Pont 1986): This species can be distinguished from others with yellow frontal vitta and palpi by the entirely yellow fore femur and specialised chaetotaxy (short erect anterodorsal hairs on tarsomeres 2 or 3–5 of the fore leg). The species further has a very distinct trifoliate process (

).
