Remarks.
The species was recently assigned to
Guyalna
(
Sanborn 2016
)
based on the three-segmented tarsi, rounded timbal cover apex (
Fig. 2
), pronotum shorter than mesonotum, head as wide or slightly wider than the mesonotum and slightly protruding eyes as listed by
Boulard & Martinelli (1996)
as characteristic of the genus
Guyalna
. In addition, the lack of a cruciform elevation notched in the form of a more or less open semicircle as listed by
Delétang (1919)
as characteristic of
Dorisiana
and the lack of a tapered, triangular timbal cover listed as characteristic of
Dorisiana
by Boulard & Marinelli (1996) mean the species cannot be assigned to
Dorisiana
. Body length
