The species is a medium sized animal for the genus, black and dark green with a slight lateral expansion to the abdomen prior to the terminal segments. It possesses a timbal cover that expands over the lateral timbal cavity with the rounded apex ( Fig. 10 ). Body length 25 mm , fore wing length 35–37 mm ( Boulard & Martinelli 2011 ). Distribution. The species is known currently from the type series collected in southeastern Brazil ( Boulard & Martinelli 2011 ).
