The species is in the middle of the size range for species of the genus. It can be distinguished from similarly sized species by its primarily black coloration ( Sanborn 2016 ). The timbal cover apex expands over the lateral timbal cavity with a semicircular apex ( Fig. 16 ). Body length 22.2–23.5 mm , fore wing length 31.6–34.95 mm ( Sanborn 2016 ). Distribution. The species is known currently from the type series collected on Mont Saint Marcel de la Haute- Camopi in southern French Guiana ( Sanborn 2016 ).
